I wrote this just a few minutes ago. I love the flow of it, despite it's length. Enjoy.

Human nature.

Living on borrowed time,
With lives that aren’t our own,
Icy winds so cold their scalding hot.
And everywhere you turne,
Hands are outstretched,
Grasping and clasping in prayer.
They look you in the eye,
even smile in your face,
but once you walk away,
sharpen their knives and prepare for dissention.

I like it. short, and to the point.
Even though you said, "and you better leave a reply, or i'll cut your nuts off and make butter out of them" lol.
